    Shruthi is a first-year Master’s student in Data Science, focusing on applying analytical methods to gaming for developing predictive models and enhancing player experiences. She enjoys meeting new people and often spends her free time playing open-world games or creating art. Always eager to merge her interests, she is passionate about leveraging data to innovate within the gaming industry.

    Vice - President

    Narayani is a second-year Master of Environmental Studies candidate at the School of Arts & Sciences. The existential crisis that engulfed her during her two-year stint as a software engineer made her realize that what she truly wants is to learn more about our planet and become part of the solution to climate change. She cannot imagine a world without Indian elephants, Arctic wolves, and Orca whales! In her spare time, you’ll find her devising plans to figure out how to pet more dogs in a day; she would happily gush to you about her dogs back home! She’s a proud Malayali, loves achar like it’s the main course, and enjoys watching movies, anime, and listening to music of all genres. The Ghibli movies shaped her beliefs growing up. She used to be a bookworm but is now a book dragon, hoarding away books to be read. It goes without saying that she loves spending time in nature. She’s super excited to be the new Vice President and to work with the team to make some fun events happen!

    Aditi is a first-year Master's student in Biotechnology (SEAS). Hailing from a science background, she loves exploring new areas that teach her something outside the classroom. With her working experience in the Biotech sector and volunteering activities in NGOs, she's excited to join the Rangoli Committee as the Finance chair and contribute with her fun ideas for the community. Aditi is a huge foodie who loves trying different cuisines and exploring new cultures. Being raised in two different cities in India and traveling to several continents, she now loves meeting new people and getting to know them. She also enjoys music/ reading books occasionally and is an avid movie and TV show binge-watcher! (Modern Family fans accumulate). Apart from that, Aditi loves to sing, write, and paint in her free time. She also loves swimming and playing badminton and claims to be getting better at it :P

    Logistics Chair

    Gaurav is a first-year CIS master’s student with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and a keen interest in data science. He brings this analytical approach to his position as Logistics Chair, where he's excited to streamline event planning. Outside of his academic commitments, Gaurav can be found cheering on his favorite F1 team, McLaren (because who doesn't love a good comeback story?), losing himself in the worlds of video games or absorbed in a captivating book.

    Social Activities Chair

    Jasleen is a first year student, pursuing her Masters of Social Work at the School of Social Policy and Practice. Jasleen has worked as an EMT in the heart of Seattle, as well as directly with homeless youth in the shelters across the greater Seattle area. This work led her to want to pursue a career in social work, hoping to find effective solutions to societal problems. She is from Seattle, born and raised, but is excited to dive into East Coast culture at Penn! Jasleen is deeply connected to her Punjabi roots, as a huge Diljit Dosanjh fan, active Bhangra dancer, and lover of the Punjabi movie industry. She also enjoys travelling and visited over a dozen cities during her gap year. She is excited to work as the Social Activites Chair and bring creative events to the Indian community at Penn!

    Saloni is pursuing a Master's in Behavioural and Decision Science, blending her knack for uncovering what makes users tick with her passion for promoting positive health and wellness behaviours. With experience in early-stage startups, she thrives on building and scaling digital products from 0-1(million). She’s constantly asking “why” – sometimes over coffee, sometimes while gazing at mountains, and often while doing both simultaneously.

    Raza, a First Year Data Science Grad Student, exemplifies resilience and perseverance in his academic and career pursuits. He diligently tackles challenging coding projects and complex algorithms, often working late into the night. His collaborative spirit and willingness to assist peers foster a sense of camaraderie. Beyond his technical skills, Raza connects with diverse individuals, engages in meaningful conversations, and enjoys exploring nature, sports, and new experiences. When he is not doing anything, he loves watching action animes such as One Piece, Bleach, and DBZ.

    Meha is an international student pursuing her MS in Social Policy + Data Analytics at SP2. This program perfectly blends her analytical background with her passion for making a difference in people's lives. As the Advocacy Chair of the Rangoli team, she can’t wait to plan fun and engaging events for everyone. Meha is also part of the Programming Committee at GAPSA. Known for saying yes to every plan, Meha loves being in the thick of things. She’s a big foodie who enjoys torturing herself with spicy foods. In her free time, you can find her dancing or playing badminton, even if she’s not exactly a pro at it.
